Softball Saturday

On the 26th I went to watch my niece and her teammates play Coach's Pitch. It was a gorgeous day to be at the ballpark and the little ladies really impressed me. They're still so young but they knew what they were doing and they made some great plays. They ended up winning 6 to 3. I was so excited for them. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Here are a few of the great shots I got.

Baton Rouge Portrait Photographer - Family Spring Pics Update

Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on this family's post. I know they're excited about their gift because I was, and I'd like to post it here so you can see what y'all contributed to! I had a lot of fun creating these customized art pieces. How could I not with two such beautiful faces! Baton Rouge Portrait Photographer - Family Spring Pics

What better way to start spring than with a family portrait session under a gorgeously blooming Bradford Pear?! And it's a good thing we started with the family picture because these kiddos loved being in the back yard. By the end of the session let's just say we all got a little wrinkled. They got muddy knees and I got muddy elbows :)
They're both at an age when their personalities really shine through. She is bashful, sweet and a cuddle bug and he is spirited, enthusiastic and fiercely independent. Mix it all together with a pair of loving parents and you get an A-grade photography session with a bonus big load of fun! Enjoy.

Baby Photographer Baton Rouge - Addie

Little ones grow so fast. I can't believe this gorgeous baby girl is already almost a year old! It seems like just yesterday I was trying really hard to make her smile for her 5 month pictures. This time, she was in a great mood, all smiles and full of happy personality. I kinda used any excuse to pick her up and hold her and by the end of it all she was saying my name! Well, I guess it's easy when your name is A-DA. She's just too sweet! We covered all the bases in this session. With a few outfit changes and a few props we were able to get her baptism gown photos, Easter photos, some spring tutu shots and a super cute family portrait.

Baton Rouge Children's Photographer - Little Jack

I had photographed this beautiful family before Christmas when it was just the four of them plus a bump :) They were a blast then and they were wonderful now. The girls are so graceful, not to mention attentive and helpful! I was told that little Jack has three mamas. I don't doubt it at all. Of course, Jack refused to go to sleep for our session. He just knew something was going on and he was determined to be awake through it all...  At some point his mama put him in his swing and his eyes would roll back and his lids would get heavy and in the next instant he'd wake himself up! He sure as heck wasn't going to miss a thing! Haha.... so we got some bright eyed pictures. Enjoy!
